1765 Regina Begin the Thirty Days

Your data

Your data, in your hands.

Almost everything 1765 Regina keeps for you is kept by your own browser, on your own device. Here is where it is, and how to clear it or take your address off our list.

What is on this device

The tools remember your progress in your browser's local storage, under names that begin with regina. Today that is your Examen resolutions and the days of your novenas. None of it is sent to us unless you turn on Regina Key sync, and even then we receive only a locked copy that we cannot read, so no one else can see it unless they can use this device and this browser.

It also means each browser keeps its own record: what you keep on your phone is not on your computer, and a private or incognito window forgets everything when it closes.

On iPhone and iPad, Safari can delete a site's stored data after seven days of Safari use in which you have not opened that site; opening the site resets the count, and a site added to your Home Screen keeps its own count based on your use of it (WebKit's note on this).

Keep it, move it, or clear it

Where the controls live

Export to a file, import from a file, Regina Key sync between your devices, and "delete everything on this device" are part of the tools' shared settings. They live in the app's You tab, and they will appear here once those tools are published. This page shows no button that does not yet work.

To clear everything now: in your browser's settings, delete the stored site data for 1765regina.com (browsers call it "site data", "cookies and site data" or "website data"). That removes everything Regina keeps on that device. We cannot undo it for you: we cannot read or restore your data. If you use Regina Key sync, the locked copy on our server is not touched by this, and your key can bring it back.

Leave the founding list

If you joined the founding list of The Regina Dispatch, enter the address you joined with. The record is deleted at once and we will not write to it. The reply is the same whether or not an address was on the list, so this form cannot be used to find out whether someone else has joined.

Changed your mind? You can join again from the Dispatch page at any time.

A synced copy

Regina Key sync is off unless you turn it on. Its controls are in the app's You tab, under The Regina Key. Until you turn it on, no copy of your data is on our server. Once you do, the server holds only a locked copy it cannot read; you can delete it from the same page, and it is deleted automatically 400 days after it was last written.
